Jenny Orenstein is a singer songwriter from Toronto. After attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston and spending time in Colorado she eventually found herself in Nashville, TN where she has spent the past 8 years until recently when she moved back home to Toronto. She continues to be a staff songwriter for Bluewater Music Publishing in Nashville. She has had songs in television shows as well as being recorded and released by artists in Europe. Jenny has toured both Canada and the United States (including opening slots for Leo Kotke, Blue Oyster Cult, and Howie Mandel!). Her current record, "Astroturf" was released in September 2002 and she has just finished a new album called "Red Letter Day" which was recorded in Calgary.

Mike

I was born in Moncton, New Brunswick on May 28th 1968 and from that day on I did pretty much what everyone else did you know. I went to school, I hated school, I played hockey, I loved hockey. I thought I'd play professional hockey ..etc etc blah blah blah shave and a hair cut. two bits.

But then in March of 1985 I bought my first guitar.

Then, I moved to Bonnyville, Alberta, in August of 1985. Where I played football, more hockey and more importantly, more and more guitar.

From 1987 thru 1993, I toured all over western Canada in various rock and roll bands.
But for the most part, I just roamed around with my guitar and learned a truck load of songs..and I was slowly becoming confident as a songwriter.

I put out my first album in 1993, and from then til now it's been at least 20 guitars, a ton of miles, a boat load of shows, a handful of records and more fun, laughs and friends than anyone should be allowed...so there.

I now live outside of Toronto, Ontario, with my wife Jenny and our Dalmation, Lucy.
